Domestic EPC - (Energy Performance Certificate).
A domestic EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rates a home’s energy efficiency on a scale from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It summarises the current energy performance, estimated running costs, and CO2 emissions, and provides recommendations for cost-effective improvements to reduce energy use and bills. EPCs are produced by accredited assessors following a standardised inspection of the property’s fabric, heating, glazing and insulation, and are required when a property is built, sold or let in England and Wales. The certificate is valid for ten years
